How We Make Money

1. Display Advertising

We display ads through Google AdSense (Publisher ID pub-3977727625250148). AdSense pays us per impression and per click. We have zero control over which advertiser appears in any given slot — Google's algorithm picks based on the viewer and page context. An advertiser cannot pay us to appear on a specific article.

2. Affiliate Commissions

When you click "Apply" on a lender we partner with and complete an application, we may receive a commission from that lender. Commissions vary: typically a flat $20–$200 per funded loan, or a percentage of the loan amount.

What this does NOT change:

• The order lenders appear in our directory (sortable by rate, term, credit-score requirement — never by commission)
• Star ratings (calculated from objective criteria + verified user reviews)
• Editorial reviews and recommendations (written before any commercial discussion)
• Calculator outputs (math is math)

What this DOES change: Lenders we partner with may appear with an "Apply Now" button that opens an affiliate link. Lenders we don't partner with simply show a regular link to their site.

3. Editorial Firewall

Our editorial team operates independently of our business team. Writers do not see commission rates. Affiliate relationships are negotiated separately and never reference specific articles or rankings. If a lender asks for favourable coverage in exchange for a higher commission, we decline.

4. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal data. Calculator inputs are processed in your browser unless you sign in to save them.
• We do not run native-advertising "advertorials" disguised as editorial content.
• We do not accept payment to remove or alter negative lender reviews.
• We do not paywall any tool, calculator, or article.
